Stage 3:

The goal of this stage is to raise capital from your investors. Roll the die and move forward on the board. The more blocks you land on, the more money you can raise. Based on the spot you land on, multiply the amount in that box by the number of investors that you have in your fund. For example, if a player had 5 investors in Stage 2 and they land on the $100,000 block, they would raise $500,000 for that roll. Players keep accumulating capital depending on how many blocks they land on in that stage.
At the end of this stage, each player should add up their total capital raised in Stage 3 and add in the bonus dollars from from Stage 1. This is how much capital they have in their fund to now invest.

Stage 4:

In this stage, each player finds investment opportunities & must determine how much they plan to invest in each opportunity. Players need to think carefully here based on what they roll and where they are on the board to utilize their capital effectively. Players will take turns rolling the die. When they land on an investment opportunity, they must decide how much of their total capital raised they will invest in that opportunity. Write down that amount on the score sheet. The total cannot add up to more than the total capital raised.
Below are a list of potential investment opportunities.

Activity 4: Set Up a Robust CRM & Lead Funnel

  • Car Wash New Construction Deal

Stage 5:

In this stage, we will see how each investment paid off. List out all investments held, using the order of investments from Stage 4, players will take turns rolling the die to determine the outcome for that investment. The outcome from the roll applies to all investors that invested in that investment. On the score sheet, write down the result of each investment roll for each player.
If the roll was a…
1 — The investment was break-even & all investors just got their capital back but no profits
2 — The investment outperformed. All investors get 2x their investment back.
3 — The investment was a loss.  Investors only get 50% of their invested capital back.
4 — The investment was a home run.  All investors get 3x their investment back.
5 — The investment was a complete disaster. All investors lose all their money.
6 — The investment performed. All investors get 1.5x their investment back.
Count up the total money returned from investments.

HOW TO WIN

Each player now must calculate the total gain or loss in the fund. This is done by subtracting the Total Capital Returned minus the Total Capital Invested. The player with the highest total earnings during Stage 5 is the winner and has bragging rights until the next game!
